Unfortunately, due to resourcing and logistical issues, we have had to cut back on the scale of events for 2016.
However, we are once more available for hire for events that require small recreations of Crimean War Living History, Show and Tell, and Musket Firing Displays.

This year sees the 100th anniversary of the passing of Florence Nightingale and as she is a very notable Derbyshire personality there is to be a number of events to mark this occasion. One such, is a major service on Friday 13th August in Derby Cathedral, 18-19 Iron Gate, Derby, DE1 3GP
The 19th Foot will be supporting the military to establish an exhibition which will depict a hospital ward as in the Crimea and a ward currently operational in Afghanistan.

This event is being held by the Staffordshire Regimental Museum at Whittington Barracks, near Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS14 9PY. The event's working title is "British Red Coats" and will feature redcoats from 1700 until 1880, with several other groups in attendance. Displays SATURDAY and SUNDAY.
This is NOT a full scale 19th Foot event, but on an individual volunteer basis.
